What would it look like if the patterns weused to decorate our homes featured true crime stories instead of usual motifs?

If walls could talk, think of the stories they’d tell. In this thesis, familiar domestic surfaces are reimagined to tell the stories of Lizzie Borden, Tonya Harding, and Martha Stewart, three women maligned by the American media machine.

The thesis book project at MICA is designed to serve multiple purposes. It brings together all components of the thesis in a typographically sophisticated format, while also functioning as a resource for future MFA candidates.
