My ceramic work reflects my love of bright colors, rich textures, and obsession with all things vintage, much like my graphic design.

I started with a hand building class, thinking it would be a short experiment in non-digital creativity. But as most ceramicists know, you learn quickly that clay has a plan of it’s own.

Nearly eight years later, I'm still wearing a dusty apron. Ceramics is a constant in my life, introducing me to some of the best people, keeping me constantly humble, and giving me the opportunity to help teach undergraduate ceramics while earning my MFA at MICA.
